One held for threatening beauty parlour organiser
The city police arrested a person here on Wednesday for threatening a beauty parlour organiser and her staff.According to Maharanipeta police, the accused was identified as G Kiran Kumar, a native of Narsannapeta mandal in Srikakulam, went to Grace Beauty Parlour, which is located at Jagadamba Junction area, along with her girlfriend. Visakhapatnam: The city police arrested a person here on Wednesday for threatening a beauty parlour organiser and her staff.According to Maharanipeta police, the accused was identified as G Kiran Kumar, a native of Narsannapeta mandal in Srikakulam, went to Grace Beauty Parlour, which is located at Jagadamba Junction area, along with her girlfriend.
After sending the girl inside the parlour, the accused claimed that the girl is the kin of higher police officer and demanded that they provide facial and other grooming services which costs around Rs 12,000 for free. After the beauty parlour organiser denied to provide free service, Kiran threatened them with dire consequences.
After coming out from the parlour, the woman, who came along with Kiran, paid the service charges with her debit card. Meanwhile, the parlour organisers lodged a complaint with the city police and in turn, they took them into their custody. Later, during the investigation, police came to know that the girl was innocent and let her off, but they arrested Kiran Kumar.
