Workshop to create awareness on research
GITAM School of Gandhian Studies will organise a five-day workshop for beginners, who want to do research in humanities and social sciences from June 11 to 15 , said school Director Dr B Nalini.
Visakhapatnam: GITAM School of Gandhian Studies will organise a five-day workshop for beginners, who want to do research in humanities and social sciences from June 11 to 15 , said school Director Dr B Nalini.
She said that the main objective of organising the workshop was to create awareness about the fundamental concepts of research in humanities and social sciences, understanding the basics of research design, research methodology and drafting of a research report and imparting information about the latest trends and crucial concerns in humanities and social sciences research.
The workshop, which would be conducted by expert resource persons, would offer hands-on training on a range of crucial research areas, Nalini said and added that the workshop would be useful for postgraduate and doctoral research students in order to carry out meaningful and error-free research.
All participants would be given course material and certificates and the workshop is open to the general public with a special focus on M Phil, PhD and PG students of humanities and social sciences, Nalini said.
