The administration is planning to appoint 95 ration dealers in the district. They received applications from youth. After screening test, officials directed the applicants to attend the interview on June 11 and 12.
Vizianagaram: The administration is planning to appoint 95 ration dealers in the district. They received applications from youth. After screening test, officials directed the applicants to attend the interview on June 11 and 12.
Now, the applicants are approaching the TDP MLAs and getting recommendation letters and submitting them to officials. As per information, the mandal-level leaders like MPPs, ZPTCs and others are reportedly collecting around Rs 50,000 from applicants and issuing letters of MLAs.
Though Class X pass -outs are eligible for the posts, even post graduates also applied for ration dealership. But the leaders are allegedly collecting money and recommending the Intermediate pass-outs.
Some of the applicants, who came to know about irregularities, complained to the revenue divisional officers in this regard. J Murali, RDO of Vizianagaram said that the recruitment process would be taken up in a transparent manner and no eligible candidate would be kept aside.
