Tirupati: The first smart city project e-class rooms with digital teaching aids are started with the initiative taken by Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Tirupati, V Vijaya Rama Raju.

Tirupati Smart City Corporation Limited (TSCCL ) has taken up e-class room project and planned to develop two MCT Schools. Main objectivity of this project is installation of e learning solution in 4 classrooms including supply, install, commission and maintain Hardware, software and connected accessories.

Smart Classrooms concept with digital content was approved by the AP State Secondary Education Board. Authorities have provided dedicated technical support personnel for a period of 12 months from installation and commissioning to each of the schools. Similarly, they also equip schools with technology based digital learning zones for students to learn in Telugu and English mediums.

Another benefit of this project is building the capacity of the teachers in a comprehensive manner to enable them to use , operate, train other teachers and teach students to improve quality of education in school.

The e- learning project has been completed where installation of the digitalisation is completed in SPJN Municipal Corporation High School and TPPM High School.
