One dead, six hurt as private travels bus hits lorry in Nellore
Driver of a private travels bus died and six passengers received injuries when the bus hit a stationary lorry at Bodduvaripalem in Kodavalur mandal in the district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohana Durga Reddy, 40. The Morning Star travels bus was going to Chennai from Hyderabad with 31 passengers.
When the bus had reached Bodduvaripalem in Kodavalur mandal in the early hours, it crashed into a parked lorry from rear as the bus driver lost his control.
The bus driver Durga Reddy died on the spot and six passengers suffered injuries. Local people called 108 ambulance service and also the police. The injured were shifted to Kovur government hospital. Kodavalur SI Anji Reddy said a case was registered and the investigating was on.
