Speed up clearing petitions, Collector tells officials
Expressing concern over delay in dispersing the pending applications, District Collector C Harikiran warned action against the officials if they are negligent in solving the pending petitions which are received during grievance day.
Kadapa: Expressing concern over delay in dispersing the pending applications, District Collector C Harikiran warned action against the officials if they are negligent in solving the pending petitions which are received during grievance day.
The Collector participated in the grievance day programme here on Monday. He said thousands of petitions are being received across the district every Monday. But they are not solved as was expected by the people and as a result, they visit the offices repeatedly.
He said that as per his observation the situation is same in the mandals with officials not showing interest to clear the petitions in a speedy manner.
Most of the petitions received are related to the land issues like encroachments, not issuance of pass books, crop loans, finalisation of borders to the lands distributed to the weaker sections, etc.
