Create New things to get Recognition, says cardiologist Veleti Uma Shanker

Vijayawada: Students should improve relations and think in an innovative way to create new things and to get recognition, said Memphis Meats CEO and co-founder, cardiologist Veleti Uma Shanker.

He was the chief guest at the motivational programme for students organised by Sarada College on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Shanker said now-a-days everyone was looking for novelty and students should know more about their subject through Google and social media.

He said one can reach their goal through trust, time, team and through proper planning.

He said that he hails from Vijayawada and settled in US and now established a company which produces artificial meat. He said that Bill Gates, Cargill Tyson and others had invested in his company, he added.

Sarada Educational Academy MD Y Sarada Devi said people who were successful in society should be taken as role models.

She said this motivational programme was organised to transform the students into disciplined and successful citizens of the country.

An interactive session was held between the students and the chief guest.

The college faculty, students and others participated in the programme.
