Eye Bank gets Rs. 50,000 Donation

Badam Balakrishna Eye Bank under Kakinada Eye Foundation, which has been extending its activities in collection of corneas and fixing the same to the needy to bring eye sight, has received a donation of Rs 50,000 on Tuesday.

Prominent architect and MD of Swapna Sowdha Associates SVM Chandrasekher and his wife Naveena handed over a cheque for the amount to vice-chairman of the eye bank Dr Ravula Sriram.
Dr Sriram complimented the gesture of the donor for the cause of eye sight to the needy.
He also said that awareness in the student community should be created on eye donation and eye care.
Founder chairman of the eye bank, Dr Badam Balakrishna and others were present.
