Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University has been included in the list of universities under section 12 b of Universities Grants Commission. This recognition makes university eligible to receive the funds from various central government organisations and other agencies for the varsity development.
An expert committee of the UGC visited the university during 28-30th December of 2017 and submitted a report to the UGC and based on the committee recommendation,UGC has approved the inclusion of the SVVU in 12 b list of universities. The SVVU vice-chancellor DR Y Haribabu complimented the faculty, staff and students for the recognition.
