Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Demolishes Unauthorised Buildings
As per the instructions of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner J Nivas, unauthorised constructions in 56th division (Devineni Gandhipuram) and 58th division (Rajiv Nagar) were demolished and stern action was taken on the house owners on Wednesday.
Vijayawada: As per the instructions of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner J Nivas, unauthorised constructions in 56th division (Devineni Gandhipuram) and 58th division (Rajiv Nagar) were demolished and stern action was taken on the house owners on Wednesday.
A team led by VMC Town Planning Section (TPS) officer Sharada demolished construction without obtaining permission from authoritie.
She said that the TPS officials had stopped the unauthorised construction and the constructed portion of the building was demolished.
She said that any unauthorised construction or construction without obtaining permission from the VMC in the city limits would be stopped and demolished apart from action against owner of the building.
She informed that the construction should be done as per the approved plan only.
No deviation of construction would be encouraged. She warned that stern action would be taken if rules are violated.
