Vijayawada: As part of the 39 days dharna programme, the AYUSH paramedical staff of Vizianagaram district who was removed from the job participated in a protest on Day 5 on Friday.
About 30 Ayush staff participated in the protest demanding that the government reinstate them in their jobs and pay salaries.
About 800 staff was removed from the services across the state due to shortage of doctors.
S Appala Naidu, Ayush employees union leader demanded that the State government take initiative to provide doctors in the dispensaries so that they would get their jobs.
