Banaganapalle ex-MLA Katasani’s son ends life
Banaganapalle former MLA Katasani Rami Reddy’s son Katasani Nagarjuna Reddy, 28, committed suicide by hanging at his residence here on Friday morning. As the news spread like wild fire in the entire constituency, relatives and well-wishers of Katasani Rami Reddy reached the former MLA’s house and consoled the bereaved family members.
Banaganapalle (Kurnool): Banaganapalle former MLA Katasani Rami Reddy’s son Katasani Nagarjuna Reddy, 28, committed suicide by hanging at his residence here on Friday morning. As the news spread like wild fire in the entire constituency, relatives and well-wishers of Katasani Rami Reddy reached the former MLA’s house and consoled the bereaved family members.
Nagarjuna Reddy is the eldest of the four sons of Rami Reddy. He completed B.Tech in Electronics and is said to be running a business in Hyderabad. He came to his native Banaganapalle two days ago and appeared to be normal. But, shockingly he was found hanging from the ceiling in his room by the family members when they went to wake him up.
According to a source, Nagarjuna Reddy had been in love with a girl in Hyderabad. He came to Banaganapalle to settle the issue of marrying her, but his parents reported to have refused the proposal.
Dejected with the rejection, Nagarjuna Reddy might have resorted to the extreme step, sources said. Katasani Rami Reddy’s brother Katasani Ram Bhupal Reddy, his son-in-law and the the present Nandyal MLA Bhuma Bhramananda Reddy and several other party leaders near and dear called on the Rami Reddy.
