Oxford school in Kanigiri celebrates Ramzan
The Oxford English Medium School in Kanigiri celebrated Ramzan in a grand manner on Friday with the children and staff, announced the school director, BJV Praveen Kumar.
Kanigiri: The Oxford English Medium School in Kanigiri celebrated Ramzan in a grand manner on Friday with the children and staff, announced the school director, BJV Praveen Kumar.
Praveen said that he explained the children that the Holy Koran is bestowed to the believers in the holy month of Ramzan. He said that the Ramzan expects the public to be disciplined, generous and righteous in their life and explained the children that the Muslims celebrate Ramzan after praying the almighty by observing fasting during the month.
He said that the teachers explained the preaching of Prophet Muhammad. The director said that the students exchanged wishes of Ramzan by hugging one another and distributing sarees to poor women.
The school principal, Shaik Shiaz, teachers Santhi, Bhavani, Jyothsna, Bhulakshmi, Durga, Suchikumari, Madhavi, Sangeetha, Hymavati and parents of the children also participated in the celebrations.
