AIKMS state executive committee meeting held in Guntur city demanded that the state government supply seeds and fertilisers on 50 per cent subsidy immediately and urged the government to take steps to supply seeds and fertilisers to the farmers.
Guntur: AIKMS state executive committee meeting held in Guntur city demanded that the state government supply seeds and fertilisers on 50 per cent subsidy immediately and urged the government to take steps to supply seeds and fertilisers to the farmers.
AIKMS body passed a resolution to this effect. The meeting asked the government to take steps to check sale of fake and substandard seeds causing loss to the farmers and warned that if the government failed to do so, they will take up agitation to mount pressure on the government.
The meeting urged the government to release Rs 1,262 crore wage dues to the workers under the MNREGS immediately and demanded minimum wage to the MNREGS workers (Rs 362 per day).
