The third year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students from Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukur excelled in the NPTEL course and received Elite certificate from the IIT Kanpur, announced the college correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah. 

Kandukur: The third year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students from Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukur excelled in the NPTEL course and received Elite certificate from the IIT Kanpur, announced the college correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah.

He said that with the financial help from the Human Resources Department of Union government and under the guidance of IIT Kanpur and IISc Bengaluru, the students received 8 weeks training.

He said that the test for the Andhra Pradesh students was conducted at RVR Engineering College in Guntur.

In the 10 students from his college appeared for the exam, Ramaiah said that eight of them scored highest marks and received Elite certificates.

He said that the performance of the students was just an example of their highest academic and infrastructure standards in the college.

The students Shaik Sharmila, Kandra Sushma, J Praveena, M Prasanna, Dasari Manojna, K Harshita, Dasari Meghana and Shaik Shabana received appreciation from the college principal M Lakshmana Rao, treasurer Kancharla Srikanth Chowdary, academic in-charge SM Meeravali, in-charge HoD of EEE V Haribabu and other teaching and non-teaching staff.
