Woman commits suicide
A 35-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming poison at Prince Apartments near Kirlampudi layout here on Thursday. The reason behind her suicide is yet to be ascertained.
Visakhapatnam: A 35-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming poison at Prince Apartments near Kirlampudi layout here on Thursday. The reason behind her suicide is yet to be ascertained. According to Three Town police, Pasupuleti Vani (35), a resident of Kirlampudi layout, tied nuptial knot with one Gangadhar, a resident of Krishnanagar area in the city, seven years ago.
In the meantime, the couple was blessed with two sons. Both the couple had worked as software professionals in the US and they had returned to the city in April. The parents of Vani alleged that their daughter resorted to the extreme step due to harassment of Gandadhar’s family members. Three Town police registered a case and shifted the body to the KGH for post-mortem. Further investigation is on.
