Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed solidarity with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday. Chandrababu Naidu tweeted, “We extend our solidarity with the government of Delhi elected by the people”.

Further, Chandrababu Naidu lambasted the Central government by making a serious comment, “The trend of using the Governor’s Office for political benefits of the ruling party at the Centre, goes against the spirit of the Constitution.”

The governance at New Delhi state came to a stand-till for the last one week, particularly when the differences started between the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal.

Reacting on the chaos in the Delhi state, Chandrababu Naidu observed that the Central government was misusing the office of Governor to threaten the states.

Chandrababu Naidu, who is going to New Delhi on Saturday night, is likely to meet Aravind Kejriwal to express solidarity, according to highly placed sources in the TDP.

He also discussed the issue with the party’s Parliament members on Friday at his residence at Undavalli. A senior Lok Sabha Member explained that, still Chandrababu Naidu did not take any decision to meet Aravind Kejriwal, but he may meet.

It is worth to mention here that, Aravind Kejriwal, president of Aam Admi Party, extended support to Chandrababu Naidu during his protest against the Central government demanding Special Category Status and other issues. They also extended cooperation on issues like Fifteenth Finance Commission’s recommendations and others.
