Bengal CM backs Chandraabu Naidu

Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee extended her support to AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s demand that the rules and regulatios of the 15th Finance Commission should be amended to help the states. In his speech AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu demanded special category status and was supported by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who too demanded special status for his state.

In his speech, Nara Chandrababu Naidu has highlighted the unimplemented assurances in the AP Reorganisation Act and sought to know why the Centre has not implemented them so far. He also gave a detailed exposition of how Andhra Pradesh was being deprived of its rightful share.
