Nellore: The TDP leaders were making adverse comments against the YSR Congress fearing defeat in the coming polls, said Sarvepalli MLA and district convener of the party K Govardhan Reddy.

He addressed the media on Sunday and said the ruling party had not done anything for last four years and hence the Chief Minister is expressing insecurity through scathing attack on the opposition. “They are making allegations of understanding between the BJP and YSR Congress leaders and highlighted a drama that B Rajendranath Reddy met Amit Shah in Delhi. As it was not proved, now they are saying that he met Ram Madhav,” said Govardhan Reddy.

He said the chief minister is in insecure feeling and hence trying to sling mud on the leaders of the opposition. People are being attracted by the policies of the YSR Congress and this has been annoying the ruling party leaders for making adverse comments, the MLA said.

As the people are demanding for SCS to the state, the ruling party leaders have been trying to connect links with the ruling party at the Centre, he said and asked how Parakala Prabhakar, husband of the central minister Nirmala Sitaraman, was appointed as advisor to the CM in the state.
