Mass Aksharabhyasam organised at Kali Matha temple in Vijayawada
A mass ‘Aksharabhyasam’ programme was organised at Thrishakti Peetham temple (Kali Matha temple) on the auspicious occasion of Jestamasam Panchami here on Monday.
Vijayawada: A mass ‘Aksharabhyasam’ programme was organised at Thrishakti Peetham temple (Kali Matha temple) on the auspicious occasion of Jestamasam Panchami here on Monday.
About 400 children aged between three and five years were imparted Aksharabhyasam by the temple priest. The programme was organised by 24th division corporater Chandana Suresh.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh said that Aksharabhyasam programme was being organised for the last four years by him. He said that people from various parts of the city come with their kids for the programme.
He said that education was a must for every child and he was happy to organise this programme for children to begin their education on the auspicious day.
He said that the couples who come with their kids for Aksharabhyasam were given slate, pencil and puja material along with prasadam to perform the puja for the programme.
YSRCP leader Vangaveti Radha Krishna, Kapu Corporation MD Siva Sankar, former Bezwada Bar Association president Sampara Srinivas and others were present on the occasion.
