Zilla Parishad Chairperson calls upon people to donate blood
Zilla Parishad Chairperson Shaik Janimun said that there is a need to conduct blood donation camps to donate blood to the needy. She further stated: “Blood, which we donate will give a lease of life to the needy”. She inaugurated a blood donation camp at Indian Red Cross Society here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, she called upon the people come forward to donate blood and appreciated Kapil Chit Funds, The Hans India and HMTV for conducting the blood donation camp.
Guntur Cooperative Urban Bank Limited Chairman Bonaboina Srinivas Yadav said that there is a need to create awareness on blood donation among people so that many would come forward to donate blood. He said blood we donate today will save lives and appreciated Kapil Chit Funds, The Hans India and HMTV for conducting the blood donation camp.
Indian Red Cross Society Guntur administrative officer J Ramesh Swarna said that every person may donate blood twice in a year. He felt that they will collect blood and supply the same to the needy at a nominal price. He further stated that they have facility to preserve blood.
He urged the people to avail the facility provided by Indian Red Cross Society. He thanked The Hans India, HMTV and Kapil Group for conducting the blood donation camp..
Later, Janimun,Bonaboina Srinivas Yadv distributed fruits, juice and biscuits to those who donated blood at the blood donation camp. The Hans India marketing officer Ch Subba Rao felicitated Shaik Janimun and Bonaboina Srinivas Yadav and gave mementos.
