5K Run to mark Rahul birthday organised
On the 48th birthday of AICC president Rahul Gandhi, various programmes were organised across the city on Tuesday.

The Youth Congress president, P Rakesh Reddy organised a 5K Run starting from Dharna Chowk. The run was flagged off by AICC secretaries G Rudraraju and Mastan Vali.
AICC leaders, Mahila Congress leaders, Youth Congress leaders and others participated in the 5K Run. The youth raised slogans ‘Pratyeka Hoda Andrula Hakku’ while participating in the run.
Various programmes were organised to mark the birthday celebration. Former Union minister Panabaka Lakshmi addressed the gathering and wished the AICC president Rahul Gandhi on his birthday.
She said that farmers debt waiver, jobs for unemployed youth, security to SC, ST, BC and minority communities was possible only after the Congress comes to power in the coming elections.
She said the party was strengthened under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. She said that after coming to power, Special Category Status would be accorded to AP only by the Congress.
