Inform elected representatives on selection of housing beneficiaries, officials told

Speaking to the officials of housing department at GUDA office here on Tuesday, he said that he was receiving many complaints relating to the selection of beneficiaries.
The officials should inform to the elected representatives before selecting the beneficiaries.
While selecting beneficiaries in case of replacement, the officials should verify the credentials of the beneficiaries, he said.
The government had decided to provide houses to all and allotting thousands of houses.
It was the duty of the officials to avoid fake beneficiaries. Any lapses in this regard would be viewed seriously, he warned.
Deputy mayor Vasireddy Rambabu, corporator VS Rao and others were present.
