The secretary of St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology in Chirala, Vanama Ramakrishna Rao announced that a student of their college won the silver medal in the MIG Welding competition held at Naipunya programme in Amaravati.

Chirala: The secretary of St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology in Chirala, Vanama Ramakrishna Rao announced that a student of their college won the silver medal in the MIG Welding competition held at Naipunya programme in Amaravati.

The college principal Dr P Ravi Kumar said that K Pavan Durga Venkata Siva was final year engineering student in their college and took training in the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation.

The principal said that the student participated in the Naipunya Competition held by the APSSDC and Confederation of Indian Industries and stood in second position in MIG Welding.

He said that Siva was qualified to participate in the South Indian level competition in Bengaluru on June 21.

The HoD of mechanical engineering, V Lakshminarayna, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college and students wished all the best to the students and asked him to win at the Bengaluru competition too.
