Anganwadi honoured for best service
District Collector B Lakshmikantham on Wednesday honoured an Anganwadi worker, P Raja Kumari with gold medal for her outstanding service to the children of Chintalavalli village. The villagers also felicitated her on the occasion.
Vijayawada: District Collector B Lakshmikantham on Wednesday honoured an Anganwadi worker, P Raja Kumari with gold medal for her outstanding service to the children of Chintalavalli village. The villagers also felicitated her on the occasion.
She received the gold medal for her exceptional services as an Anganwadi worker in the village for neat maintenance of the Anganwadi premises and for the well maintained infrastructure.
Lakshmikantham appreciated Raja Kumari for her neat and hygienic maintenance of the Anganwadi premises and said that she would be an inspiration to other workers in maintaining hygiene.
He further said that one should be inspired with the dedicated child care services of Raja Kumari.
ICDS officials, ICDS staff, Anganwadi workers and helpers congratulated Raja Kumari on the occasion.
Raja Kumari expressed her happiness on receiving the gold medal and said that her responsibility was doubled now.
She said that she had rendered her duties perfectly on the instructions of the ICDS officers and staff to bring more children and the medicare services for the pregnant women and lactating mothers.
