The sub divisional police officer, AV Ramana took charge as the DSP of Special Branch in Ongole on Wednesday. He met the SP Bhusarapu Satya Yesu Babu and introduced himself to his boss in the district.
Ongole: The sub divisional police officer, AV Ramana took charge as the DSP of Special Branch in Ongole on Wednesday. He met the SP Bhusarapu Satya Yesu Babu and introduced himself to his boss in the district.
AV Ramana joined the police department as sub-inspector in 1989 and worked at Eluru, Attili and other places before receiving promotion as circle inspector.
As the CI, he worked in Palakollu, Bhimadolu and Penukonda circles. In 2012, he was promoted as sub divisional police officer and posted at Vizianagaram PTC, Vizianagaram town SDPO.
Later, he was transferred to the head office and then posted in Ongole as DSP Special Branch.
