Amaravati: The State government has decided to regularise the sale deed agreements without any stamp duty. Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy said that the farmers, who have sale deeds on white papers or stamp papers but not having registrations to their lands, can now regularise their lands.

This will apply only to 2.5 acres of Jareeb lands and 5 acres of upland and to the lands having sale deeds before June 2, 2014. The farmers should submit a request to the tahsildar and the revenue department will confirm that the sale deed is genuine or not. The facility will apply to rural areas only.
