Srikakulam: TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was posing hurdles to the development of Andhra Pradesh, alleged BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Kanna said the Central government released funds to the State through GO Nos. 10, 43, 59 and 64 etc recently. But the TDP leaders were accusing the Centre of depriving funds to the State, he lamented.

He criticised the TDP government for its failure to do justice to AgriGold victims. He said the BJP government at Centre sanctioned 21 national institutions to State including Central University in Anantapur but the State government was busy spreading lies among public.

The State government failed to provide feasibility report on the Steel Plant in Kadapa though Centre was ready to sanction it, Kanna said. The Central government changed the name of Sakshara Bharat as Padana-Likhana.

Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other States streamlined their systems but AP is yet to initiate process, he said. BJP leaders P Venugopalam, P Tirupati Rao, D Ravindrababu, K Viswsanadham, K Narayana Rao, S Nageswara Rao, Ch Venkateswara Rao, G Bhagyalaxmi and Ch Sridevi attended.
