Ganta will contest from Bheemili: Chinarajappa
Marking an end to the predictions and various rumours, Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa here on Thursday announced that Bheemili MLA and Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao would again contest from the Bheemili Assembly segment in the 2019 general elections.
Visakhapatnam: Marking an end to the predictions and various rumours, Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa here on Thursday announced that Bheemili MLA and Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao would again contest from the Bheemili Assembly segment in the 2019 general elections.
According to the sources, Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao was not happy over a recent survey conducted by some news channels which said that Ganta may not win in Bheemili in the next elections. Meanwhile, the party high command also is not happy with Ganta Srinivasa Rao on various issues. Expressing his deep dissent over the developments, Ganta did not even attend the Cabinet meeting.
Following the directions from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Chinarajappa held discussions with Ganta Srinivasa Rao. After the discussions, Chinarajappa announced that Ganta Srinivasa Rao would contest from Bheemili and that he was very sure that the HRD Minister would win with huge majority. Meanwhile, after the AP Health Fest, Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu invited Ganta into his car and the both leaders spoke sometime in the car.
