Vijayawada: The city police arrested four persons and seized gutka packets worth Rs 5 lakh and foreign cigarettes worth Rs 8 lakh.
DCP Navab Jan addressing the media at Ajit Singh Nagar Police Station on Thursday said four persons Pyla Koteswara Rao, Raja Koti Reddy, Raja Rosi Reddy and Gontla Balaji were selling gutka and banned foreign cigarettes across the city.
He said the crime police conducted raids and seized the gutka packets and cigarettes from the accused. He said the accused would be produced in the court.
