Amaravati: As it estimated, the TDP is planning to make the Telugu Desam - Dalita Tejam concluding meeting at Nellore on June 30 as a big success, by mobilizing at least ten Scheduled Castes cadre from each village in the state.

It also planned to transport the SCs through “Dalita Chaitanya Rathalu”, (Dalit empowering vehicles). These vehicles will start from all the villages across the state on June 27, and mandated to reach Nellore by June 30 early morning.

All these vehicles will be named after the prominent SC leaders in the state including Kusuma Dharmanna, Gurram Jashuva, Damodaram Sanjivaiah, GMC Balayogi, SR Sankaran, Father Ferar and other leaders from 13 districts.

As a preparatory review on the Dalita Tejam concluding meeting, TDP president and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference on Saturday, in which Ministers including Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, P. Narayana, Nakka Anandababu, KS Jawahar, Varla Ramaiah and other MLAs and MLCs participated.

Speaking on this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu explained that the state government allocated more than Rs 40,000 crore in the last four Budgets for the welfare and well being of Scheduled Castes and spent more than 90 percent in it.

He further informed that the government has been striving for the welfare and well being of SCs, STs, BCs and Minorities in the state. This message must go to the public in a strong manner, he directed the party leaders.

Chandrababu Naidu explained about the various welfare schemes and development activities being undertaken by the State government from last four years for SCs, on this occasion. He suggested to educate the SCs on the welfare schemes, so as to empower them to get benefits out of them.
