BARC director at GITAM
India\'s premier nuclear research facility Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Director KN Vyas visited GITAM University here on Saturday, along with the Regional Director, BARC facility, Visakhapatnam, and other BARC senior officials.
Visakhapatnam: India's premier nuclear research facility Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Director KN Vyas visited GITAM University here on Saturday, along with the Regional Director, BARC facility, Visakhapatnam, and other BARC senior officials.
He visited the NISARGRUNA, a technology developed by BARC to produce biogas from biodegradable material like kitchen waste, plant litter and lawn grass being set up in GITAM campus as a part of BARC-GITAM MoU to set up BARC Technologies Display and Dissemination Centrr.
He went around the various facilities in GITAM including GIMSR. He is overwhelmed by the green ambience and infrastructure of the campus and complimented the GITAM Management, the Vice-Chancellor and his team for creating such an excellent facility.
Later, BARC Director interacted with GITAM Vice-Chancellor Prof MS Prasada Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof K Sivaramakrishna, Registrar Prof M Potharaju and BARC GITAM Projects Coordinator Prof N Lakshmana Das.
