Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) chairman P Uday Bhaskar asked the government to give details about the vacant posts in all the departments.

He said once the government sends its report about the department wise vacant posts, the APPSC would release a calendar on the examination details and dates. Addressing a media conference here on Monday, Uday Bhaskar said that during the past two years the APPSC had recruited 4,300 vacant posts through 34 notifications.

To recruit 95 posts with graduation as qualification, the commission wrote letters seeking some clarifications from the government and the notification would be released shortly, he said. The commission already conducted the examination to recruit Assistant professors in 64 specialisations for various universities.

The final key would be released in July first week and the merit lists would be sent to the universities, he said. The commission is making efforts to change the syllabus of the examinations stated in the notifications.

The commission also decided to change the group-2 syllabus and asked the experts to prepare a note to change the syllabus and expecting the report in July, the APPSC chairman said.

Responding about the teacher recruitments, Uday Bhaskar said that the commission not yet received any instruction from the government to conduct the DSC.
