Lord Malayappa adorned with Muthyapu Kavacham

Tirupati: Wearing the pearl studded armour, Malayappa Swamy blessed devotees along four Mada streets on the second day of annual Jyeshtabhishekam on Monday.

Earlier during the day, the deities were rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam in Kalyanotsava Mandapam between 9 am and 11am. The TTD has cancelled Visesha Puja and Vasanthotsavam in connection with Jyeshtabhishekam.

Later in the evening, Visesha Muttagi Samarpana was done wherein Lord Malayappa Swamy was decorated with Pearl armour. Tirumala Pedda Jeeyar and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Board member P Ramesh Babu and temple Dy EO Harindranath were also present.
