Commissioner J Nivas inspects storm water drain works
Municipal Commissioner J Nivas on Wednesday instructed the officials to start the culvert works at Chuttugunta and Machavaram and other parts of Eluru road and complete the works as early as possible.

He along with engineering and public health department officials inspected the storm water drain pipeline works on Eluru road.
The Public Health Department is executing the Rs 450 crore storm water drain works. The Commissioner as part of the visit inspected the ongoing storm water drain works and asked the officials to take up culvert works.
He instructed the sanitation staff to clean the roads along the dividers with the sweeping machines. He said storm water was getting stagnated on some areas of Eluru road and asked the sanitation staff to remove the silt and dirt from the side drains every day.
He reminded many people were suffering due to stagnation of water on Eluru road during the rainy season.
