Cops rewarded for meritorious service
West Godavari District Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash presented cash prizes and appreciation letters to the police persons who delivered highly talented service here on Tuesday.
Eluru: West Godavari District Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash presented cash prizes and appreciation letters to the police persons who delivered highly talented service here on Tuesday.
In connection with hay stocks being set ablaze under Pedapadu police station limits, the prize was given to SI K Ramakrishna, constables Pradeep and Naresh Kumar. The cops arrested the culprits and send them to remand.
Fingerprint unit CI K Narsimha Murthy, SI M Rajesh, ASIs Shaik Mahaboob Sharif, B Radhakrishna, constables Dharma Raju and M Venkata Rao, Armed Reserve police constables Samuel Raju, G Sai Kumar, A Ambedkar, Ch Chandrasekhar, K Raju, K Udaya Bhaskara Rao had exhibited good performance during launch drowning accident in River Godavari on May 16.
They helped in rescue operation and giving identity of the victims to their relatives.
The Superintendent of Police also rewarded for successful implementation of app named as Locking House Monitoring System.
Officials of police department, cops of different positions attended the award presentation.
