Housing applicants’ verification
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar explained the details of the GO issued by the government on verification of the houses to be sanctioned under Housing for All scheme.
Guntur: Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar explained the details of the GO issued by the government on verification of the houses to be sanctioned under Housing for All scheme.
He addressed a meeting held at the GMC Council hall on Wednesday.
Speaking on this occasion, he explained details of the GO issued by the government. He directed the officials to complete the verification of beneficiaries by June 29 and submit the verification reports immediately.
He instructed them to verify whether the applicants are staying locally or not and their annual income should not exceed Rs 3 lakh per annum.
He said that the beneficiaries should not have own house and instructed the revenue inspectors to take assistance of bill collectors. He directed them to submit verification applications at a meeting to be held on June 29.
GMC Deputy Commissioner Yesu Das, UPA Cell in-charge Sarath Babu were among those present.
