Singapore to provide Drone Patrolling technology to AP
: A Singapore company to extend Drone Patrolling technology to Andhra Pradesh in prevention of crime at Visakhapatnam beach. The Singapore Minister for Social and Family Development and National Development Desmond Lee agreed to extend the cooperation in giving the technology to AP government in strengthening security in Vizag and other sensitive parts of the state.
Amaravati: A Singapore company to extend Drone Patrolling technology to Andhra Pradesh in prevention of crime at Visakhapatnam beach. The Singapore Minister for Social and Family Development and National Development Desmond Lee agreed to extend the cooperation in giving the technology to AP government in strengthening security in Vizag and other sensitive parts of the state.
Minister for IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh had an interaction with the Singapore delegation led by Lee on Wednesday here in Vijayawada. On this occasion, Lee explained about the Drone Patrolling system being implemented in Singapore. Lokesh asked them to provide the technology to strengthen 24/7 security. Through this technology, they could prevent crime by monitoring movements of public.
At the same time, Lokesh also asked Lee to extend support in Electronics manufacturing and tourism development sectors in the state, since they have high end knowledge in these two sectors.
