Tirupati: BJP MLA and former minister P Manikyala Rao challenged the State government to go for early elections if they have guts and courage. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that KCR has already indicated about early polls. AP government is also thinking that they have been doing well. ``Let them go for early elections and people will express their opinion and tell which party they want”, he commented.
Rao termed the indefinite fast in Kadapa by TDP MP CM Ramesh seeking steel plant in Kadapa district as a drama. He alleged that the state government has submitted feasibility certificates and other information late. BJP will fulfil both the Railway Zone and Kadapa Steel factory and it will not go back on its word, Manikyala Rao claims.
The MLA alleged that there was misuse of funds in the construction of Polavaram project which they found in their recent visit to project site under the leadership of BJP state president Kanna Lakshiminarayana. It was decided by the party state leadership to take the irregularities to the notice of central water resources development ministry for necessary action.
