Water purifiers donated to VMC schools
Inner Wheel Club district chairperson V Sridevi and members on Wednesday donated water purifiers and library kits to two VMC schools located at Chitti Nagar here.
Vijayawada: Inner Wheel Club district chairperson V Sridevi and members on Wednesday donated water purifiers and library kits to two VMC schools located at Chitti Nagar here.
Idgaah Urdu Municipal Corporation Elementary School and KARMC Elementary School received the assistance from the Inner Wheel Club.
Earlier, the Club donated funds for whitewash, hand wash, blackboards, toilet repairs etc.
Speaking on the occasion, V Sridevi said the Inner Wheel Club was rendering assistance to the VMC schools to transform these schools as Happy schools, where children get clean drinking water and amenities like benches, toilets, library kits and blackboards. She thanked the donors for rendering assistance to the VMC schools.
Club Governor Dr Pattabhi Ramaiah, club member G Revati and others participated in the event.
The school staff and students thanked the Inner Wheel Club for generous assistance for the development of the school.
