Ongole: Senior Civil Judge and secretary of District Legal Services Authority T Raja Venkatadri said that discrimination on widows should end in society.
He visited the widows and old aged in the old age home run by Samata Mahila Vedika in Ongole town on Wednesday and interacted with the women.
He said that they should receive pensions and other welfare schemes by the government and asked them to bring to his notice if they face any issues in receiving them.
The judge later visited the Bala Sadan and Sisugruha in the town and inspected the facilities and lunch being provided there.
