CM misusing central funds, alleges Kanna
BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana has accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of misusing central funds and taking credit for the centrally sponsored schemes and claiming them to be his own.Â
Anantapur: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana has accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of misusing central funds and taking credit for the centrally sponsored schemes and claiming them to be his own.
Addressing party workers meeting here on Wednesday, Kanna said that while the state asked for Rs 3,500 crore to meet the fiscal deficit every year, the centre had given Rs 16,000 crore in four years to meet the revenue deficit. The BJP chief said he was in favour of the Kadapa steel plant, but the state was not extending cooperation, he alleged.
The Centre had also given funds for the Polavaram project, but the state was not giving utilisation of funds certificate and was accusing the former of non-cooperation. He called upon the party workers to educate the people on the evil designs of the TDP and Chandrababu, who was misleading the people.
