Kakinada: Senior TDP leader Nunna Dorababu has been appointed as Kakinada city unit president for the second term.
At the programme organised at Kakinada MLA V Venkateswara Rao’s camp office here on Wednesday, Dorababu took charge. Aman Jain also assumed charge as vice-president.
MLA Venkateswara Rao, in his welcome address, promised that he would accompany Dora Babu for party’s success in the forthcoming polls.
“Dora Babu and I striving hard to make the Dharma Porata Deeksha to be conducted in Kakinada on June 29 a great success.
We are expecting more than one lakh turnout for this mega programme at JNTU-K sports grounds on Friday,” he said.
The party leaders, outgoing president S Tirumala Kumar and others participated.
