IAS trainees visit Sri City on study tour
A four-member team of trainee officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) visited Sri City on a study tour on Wednesday. They were briefed about the Sri City, its origin, growth and status by President, Operations Satish.Â
Tirupati: A four-member team of trainee officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) visited Sri City on a study tour on Wednesday. They were briefed about the Sri City, its origin, growth and status by President, Operations Satish.
Chief Financial Officer R Nagarajan was also present. The team included Viswanathan, Gopalakrishna, Dinesh Kumar and Praveen Adhithya visited the Sri City as a part of their study tour ‘Bharat Darshan’. They all belong to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. During the briefing session, they all evinced keen interest and quizzed on different aspects of Sri City.
Later they went round the industrial park and visited the production unit of Foxconn. Impressed with the infrastructure and eco-friendly ambiance of Sri City, they all appreciated its perfect planning, meticulous implementation, sustainable urbanisation principles and keenness on employment generation.
