Srisailam: Noted Seer Channa Siddarama Panditaradhya Shivacharya Mahaswami on Wednesday conducted Nitya Ganapati Homam at Sakshi Ganapati temple near here.
On the first day, nine devotees performed the homam. The first ticket was purchased by the Srisailam Executive Officer (EO) Sriramachandra Murthy. Objective of the homam is to ensure timely rains, good harvest and people of all sections live in harmony and peace and to rule out deaths due to road accidents and natural calamities.
Explaining the significance of the homam, the EO said that the homam is performed to get wishes fulfilled and wanted the students to perform the homam to improve their thinking power and to receive good education. Seer initiates 240 kids into education
