Speed up investigation of pending cases: Guntur Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao
Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao has directed the police officials to speed up investigation of pending cases, including thefts, missing and kidnap cases.
Guntur: Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao has directed the police officials to speed up investigation of pending cases, including thefts, missing and kidnap cases.
He also asked them to set up closed circuit cameras at important traffic junctions to reduce crime.
He addressed district crime meeting at Zilla Parishad office here on Thursday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that there was a need to intensify vigilance on the movements rowdy-sheeters released from the jails.
He instructed the officials to take stern action against those who attack women. He asked them to intensify the night patrolling to check the crime.
He directed them to book cases against the drunken drivers to check road accidents.
