Prakasam district police receive ABCD award
The Prakasam district police received the second prize in the ‘Above and Beyond Call of Duty (ABCD) Awards’ announced by the Director General of Police.
Ongole: The Prakasam district police received the second prize in the ‘Above and Beyond Call of Duty (ABCD) Awards’ announced by the Director General of Police.
The DGP Dr M Malakondaiah presented the awards to the Darsi DSP and his team members at Police Headquarters in Vijayawada on Thursday.
The DGP presented the ABCD award to Darsi DSP K Nageswara Rao, Addanki CI M Hymarao and Darsi SI Subrahmanyam for solving a murder case.
The Darsi DSP team solved the murder case of Mannem Ramanjaneyulu and arrested the own brother of the deceased and six others from other districts for involving in the murder.
The DGP presented the second prize in the ABCD awards with a certificate and reward of Rs 15,000 to each of the police personnel.
The SP, Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu announced that the Prakasam district police received seven ABCD awards, including the one on Thursday, since the induction of them.
He appreciated the Darsi sub divisional police officials and asked the others to take inspiration from them in delivering best service in duty.
