Telugu Desam Party MP, CM Ramesh ended his indefinite hunger strike on Saturday after Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu gave him lime juice to consume.
Speaking after he ended the fast, he said that his fast was not for his own benefit.
The TDP MP further said that his hopes soared after Chandrababu's speech at the fast camp today to stand by the fasting party leaders following which he decided to give up the fast and struggle for it in Rajya Sabha.
CM Ramesh added that he won’t rest until the Kadapa Steel Plant is achieved and thanked everyone for the support and success of his fast.
The MP was on the strike from the past 11 days, demanding the Centre to announce setting up of the steel plant in Kadapa.
