CA Day celebrated with blood donation

Ongole: The chartered accountants in Ongole celebrated the CA Day to mark the passing of CA Act in Parliament about 70 years ago, by organising Swachh Bharat and blood donation programmes.

The CAs in the town started a walk for Swachh Bharat from Sivalayam in the town and reached the Indian Red Cross building.

The assistant commissioner of income tax, Sriram Naik participated as the chief guest while the chairman of Indian Red Cross Prakasam district unit Dr Gundavarapu Raghava explained the importance of blood donation and how they utilise the blood components.

About 50 members from the CA community donated blood.
