QIS College of Engineering and Technology secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Suryakalyan Chakravarthy and Nidamanuri Educational Society president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that a student from their college was selected by the JNTU- Kakinada for the APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Award for the year 2017.

Ongole: QIS College of Engineering and Technology secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Suryakalyan Chakravarthy and Nidamanuri Educational Society president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that a student from their college was selected by the JNTU- Kakinada for the APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Award for the year 2017.

Suryakalyan Chakravarthy said that Mekala Ratna Raju, an engineering student in the college in Computer Science Engineering received APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Award for his academic excellence in the four year course.

He said that the student also achieved good GATE rank and joined M Tech in NIT Trichy.

Ratna Raju expressed happiness for receiving the state Pratibha award from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Higher Education Minister Ganta Srinivas.

In a programme held at the college, the college secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Suryakalyan Chakravarthy and Nidamanuri Educational Society president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao, QISCET principal Dr Kilari Veeraswamy, HoD of CSE Department Rupa Devi and other staff at the college appreciated the student for receiving the Pratibha award.
